This August, step beyond the ordinary and discover Fundy Trail through a series of curated guided hiking experiences.
From hidden waterfalls and lush wetlands to stunning coastal viewpoints, each adventure invites you to experience the park at a deeper, more meaningful pace and to connect with the raw beauty and powerful rhythms of the Bay of Fundy.

    • Led by passionate guides, these small-group experiences are designed to help you slow down, explore with intention, and truly feel the landscape around you.

      :evergreen_tree: Hearst Lodge Guided Hike

      A true Fundy classic for those seeking a bit more adventure. This forested hike includes river crossings, steep terrain, and a cable ladder descent that leads to a breathtaking waterfall.
      • Distance: 7 km (round trip).
      • Duration: 3-4 hours.
      • Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous.
      • Highlights: Scenic river views, historic lodge, forest trails.
      • Experience: Bring your lunch and enjoy a relaxing riverside break at the lodge while learning about its fascinating history.

      :herb: Wander into the Wetlands
      Slow down and discover one of Fundy’s most vibrant ecosystems. This immersive guided walk reveals the hidden life of the wetlands, from unique plant species to birdlife.

      • Duration: 2.5 hours.
      • Difficulty: Easy.
      • Highlights: Wildlife viewing, interpretive storytelling, peaceful scenery.

      This is not your average beach walk. Timed with the tides, this hike reveals dramatic coastal features and hidden sea caves.
      • Distance: 5 km.
      • Duration: 2 hours.
      • Difficulty: Easy to Moderate.
      • Highlights: Coastal geology, sea caves, tidal crossings.

      An adventurous hike through forested terrain featuring river crossings and a cable ladder descent leading to a stunning waterfall.
      • Distance: 3 km loop.
      • Duration: 1.25 hours.
      • Difficulty: Difficult trail 
      • Highlights: 134-step cable ladder, 3 brook crossings and a steep hill.
      Meeting Point: Walton Glen Reception Center, Parking Lot 15.

      :ocean: Long Beach Loop
      A classic coastal hike where forest meets ocean. This guided experience offers sweeping views of the Bay of Fundy and a chance to connect with the trail’s natural rhythm.

      • Distance: Approx. 5 km.
      • Duration: 2 hours.
      • Difficulty: Easy to Moderate.
      • Highlights: Coastal views, forest scenery, iconic Fundy landscapes.
